Post-Press: Providing the finishing touch

This section is the one that goes by: “All’s well that ends well”! To end all well, we at Janus have a complete set-up with most modern equipment supported by an equally capable team. The set-up here includes a Steinmann Lotus SF Auto Lamination Machine from Switzerland which utilizes solvent free adhesive contributing to a greener environment and delivers a flawless (free of sheet curls) product at a speed of up to 11,000 sheets per hour.

This section is further strengthened by an automatic cylinder Screen Printing Press from Sakurai, Japan that is capable of applying value added high deposition coating features like brail printing, textured UV and many other types of pigmented UV patterns on a variety of printed substrates. Another machine, the Ultra Coat 900 FST is our automatic offline UV coater capable of doing spot as well as full UV coating operations at a speed of 10,000 sheets per hour. The Automatic Foil Stamping-cum-Die-cutting Machine, NIKKO JY-85T is capable of cutting plastic sheets with the help of its Hot-cut operation at the speed of 5,000 sheets per hour.

The die-cutting at Janus is enhanced by the workhorse Bobst Speria 106 from Bobst, Switzerland. With an accuracy of 0.2 mm, it delivers speeds of up to 7700 per hour, embossing solid boards besides automatic die cutting. Next in the line-up is the Kohmann Window Patching Machine from Germany. It is an innovative technology with proven engineering which offers the best in productivity, efficiency and reliability for window patching and box liner operation. The capabilities of Post-press at Janus are further reinforced by Bobst Amazon 700 and PAKTEK EXPRESS Folder Gluers. These high speed machines are capable of performing various folding and pasting operations with unmatched accuracy and quality for the cartons of open size of 850mm. Fitted with box stream regulators, these machines ensure pristine gluing of boxes at speed of 200 mtrs per minute.
